SixTsevN 1 Posted August 14, 2012 Hey there,I've never been able to successfully set up a server for DayZ.I recently went through a very comprehensive walkthrough on how to do it but, it is still quite vague and assumes you already know what you are doing with the setup and logging into your server.This is the walkthrough I was using (and so far is the best guide I've seen):http://www.tunngle.n...-in-one/http://So I'm pretty sure I have all the files and patches and etc I could possibly need.My first problem is I can't figure out how to 'setup' my server in administrator mode.My Second problem I don't even know if the server is being created when I activate the .bat file. It brings up the Arma2 Console Window and Says the host is created but, I don't know for sure.My third problem is I don't know how to make sure all the settings are correct in terms of item spawn and Z spawn.My fourth problem is how do I even connect to my server,I've read so many articles on creating DayZ servers but, no one seems to be able to give me a clear example and idea of what the end product should look like.Can anyone help? I bought mine and I hate it already>no cars>no cars>no carsI'm going to look into buying a dedicated server and doing it all myself, so that way, I can do whatever I want without the limited crap you get with a managed server. gng45mil 0 Posted October 10, 2012 I dont know how to do it that way but I have a private server i made which ha all the items vechicle and zombie spawns the proplem is that for some reason my brother can only join half the time but the rest it just says connection failed so if you can fix that then I can get.u a working server Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
