NL 13 - Zomg (actual player name) - teleporting script

Server it happened on: NL 13 - hosted by mgftw.com

Time of incident: 17:00 MST (Mountain Standard Time -US) - 21:00 in game time according to DayzCommander

Incident: So, I log on the server to wreak some havoc as I have promised Marvel and the other admins of mgftw.com. you know, destroy tents (i have another thread awaiting approval regarding MG admins restarting the server - NL 13 so they can get a rollback, waiting Dev approval). I get on skype with 2 of my friends that i used to play that game -L4D2 hosted on mg servers, and they tell me that they are 200m from ZOMG and Marv (I assume that's marvel, admin)

Like any self respecting chaos creator I carry an AS50 as primary and a L85A2 AWS in my pack. As soon as i log on, I am about 2 miles north of Elektro.I check the players list and ZOMG appears as playing not in lobby. So, since i know the admins and I know how they act based on what they do on their L4D2 servers i switch to my L85, prone under a pine tree so i have some cover (i do have a ghillie) and do a thorough check of my surroundings via the infra red. Nothing, no players for miles.

For 20 seconds i leave the PC to get some soda and when i am back i hear on skype one of my 3 friends from the other server saying something like "Hey, ZOMG just DC'ed". Of course he knows I am there, he knows my nick. I check players' list and he still appears ingame not lobby. Suddenly someone is not even 50 meters from me. bear in mind that 1 min earlier there was no one there and players count hadn't changed. So I DC myself...No screenshots...i was to busy trying to stay alive

Still in the lobby i talk to my friend who tells me that Zomg is back with marv. All took less than a minute

So, assuming the following

1. the icons that show u in game/lobby do register the change on time..

]2. he dissapeared from my friend's view w/o registering in the lobby just to re-appear less than a minute later

[The only conclusion is that Zomg is nothing more than a teleporting cheater. I expect them to try and paint a diff story backed up with "logs", But considering that IRL zomg or Jorisk as his name is is related to Martin (a.k.a marvel) and joerve, i think they are cousins, the logs might be modified.

I can confirm these guys are hackers - was on a server with them one evening when I heard a motorcycle - being a fresh spawn I ran towards it. They were spawning Ghillie's, M4's (no ammo tho.. clever guys) and additional motorcycles to get people to join. They also invited me to join their teamspeak.

Zomg was amongst them.

Didn't get a chance to report this back then.

Aw great post, let's all give this guy a big applause. So you got it all figured out huh? Just like that? So let me get this straight, you wanna wreak some havoc on our servers because....???. Next you post a cheat report about admin abuse. You don't seem to be very objective anymore after saying that are you? Ow and of course you had an AS50 and L85 yourself. And scanning around with the L85 is enough to see everything and to verify that nobody is there, even people behind trees/bushes/buildings can't be missed right? From what I'm reading here you're a map hacker yourself, considering you are THAT certain nobody was there. If you don't hack you can never ever be certain not even with a L85.

Next, you assume that marv = marvel, nice assumption. I always play under marvel not marv. Besides, anybody there can take anybody's name. It's really not that hard you know, just edit your profile and change your name but I guess you didn't know that.

So to conclude, all I see here is somebody that doesn't like us because he's been banned (due to his own behavior) and is now posting false accusations. Give me the proof (screenshots, videos, anything else) and I will take that back immediately but stop those: "I think", "I assume", "maybe", it's all blabla

Well, first of all, I don't know these guys.

Second, I play allot on this server the last few days, and lots of strange things happen. But one thing is not clear to me:

Name scanning is not enabled on this server, and it has not been for days. How on earth do you know who these players are?

well trying to stay alive and not lose my gear was more important than doing a fraps.

Let me reiterate, marvel and Jasperges. I don't hack. I have no need to.

FYI marvel, i was not in elektro, like said in my first post i was about 2 miles up. so, the L85 does do a good job when you are on top of a hill have a good vantage point. there were no buildings or anything like that in sight. Do read my post before you talk and try to actually understand what i mean.

As for the name tagging as mentioned before i don't need to hack for that, there are people i know that do it better than me.How do you think i know the coordinates for all well equipped tents on NL 13 and 20?As far as i know it's not a hack when someone else gives you the info you need. Every 2-3 days i get an email with the info i need so...I don't care how the coordinates were obtained, i get them in a legit way from my point of view.

Anyway, going back to the subject, when one of those people is on the server keeping an eye on certain players like ZOMG and tells me that he disappeared from his sight only for me to see someone appearing out of nowhere close to me, that raises a red flag. he is not in lobby so therefor...Aliens

Best way to prove my point would be the logs on NL 13 for Zomg on the day in question, but we all know Marvel will not produce them, because it would be kinda hard to explain how Zomg covered a distance of more than 2.5 miles in under 10 seconds, and if he does show them, there is no guarantee they haven't been tampered with.

P.S: 3 of those ppl that supply me with info i originally know from MG's l4d2 servers...except me and a few others from our common friend's list on steam, no one knows they play DayZ. it's better that way. They to got fed up with marvel's behavior so now they are giving me a hand in whatever i a doing :)

To this i must say, if you refer to sunday's incident, there was a scripter who teleported every vehicle and player in middle of elektro, so obviously we restarted the server and after that the vehicles disappeared from the city as if it never happend..

So i belive that the vehicles were sent back to their original locations, where they were before this script kiddie did his magic..

I have played there lately kinda much, and surely i have seen hacker or two sometimes, as in any other server, but i wish to hear about this server restarting as well? Since only 3 people have access to the server as far as i know.. (Even i dont have that access, so we can expect that it's well guarded from admin abuse which is caused by 10+ people having access to something they dont need).

Oh and what behavior is that? Banning you because you were being a racist? Banning you because you were threatning to ddos our website and destroy our servers?

And fyi, if someone uses a hack and provides the info he gained with that hack to you then you're a hacker as well, period. And if I ever see you on our servers again I'll instaban you within 10 miliseconds.

Server restarts are pretty common, on any Day Z server. Either the server crashes sometimes by itself, or it gets laggy because of a constant memory leak (don't forget DayZ runs on Windows) or because hackers are spawning too much stuff or using scripts that crash the server.

But Rayzel aka Smokke doesn't know what it takes to run a server, he probably thinks running a server doesn't cost you anything and is as easy as tying your shoelaces (although I doubt he is able to that). It's players like him that destroy the fun of hosting and playing games like Day Z and Left 4 Dead.

Look at all his other posts here, they are only about hacking and cheating but the only thing he's complaining about is that some players 'out-cheat' him. lol it really doesn't get any better than this.

Easy now guys. I too play almost only on this server. This is actually the server me & my friends made "home" after alot of discussion. The server is great, it is stable, and it is constantly updated. It has been a great homeserver for the past month or so, but lately things have started to escalate regarding cheaters (which were practicly non-existent on this server just a few weeks ago as far as my experience goes). I figured i might add my experiences to this thread since it regards the same server.

There have been several incidents lately that is a little bit shady, to say the least. For example, last night (2012-08-14) at about 20:00 GMT+1, me & my friend were running towards Nadezhdino in the forest along the road when we suddenly hear a helicopter, (I recalled that admins had put out a warning the day before that anyone even flying a helicopter would be banned), this apparently did not apply to this guy, who even though we were in cover of thick bushes and trees, laying on the ground, one of us in Ghillie suits, saw us. He then proceeded to land the helicopter, got out to hunt down my mate. My friend who only carried a pistol didnt care too much about his life so he decided to make a run and try to steal the helicopter. Which he actually managed to do, but the second he took off - the helicopter blew up by itself. Now the funny thing, this was REPEATED ONLY 10 MINUTES LATER. My friend spawned and instantly headed towards the crashsite only to find the helicopter intact once more. The weird part is that, when he finds the helicopter I had ran about 2 km from that spot to safeguard my gear and wait for him. I all of a sudden see the grass moving and then I die, laying in thick grass, behind a tree to prevent getting spotted by any thermals from the ridge where the helicopter was. And the second later my friend states that the helicopter is unguarded and we assume that the guy who tracked and killed me owned the heli. He then took off once more, and he gets blown up again. Only seconds later after his third respawn he gets banned by battle-eye for "hacker spawn" which we have no idea what to make of. The admins say that they cannot unban him if battle-eye itself banned him.

I am not saying that it is the admins that are doing this, it could be anyone. But the constant threat of cheaters are making me tired of this game.

In short, this dude can track totally hidden people from almost impossible ranges, spawn helicopters, blow them up as he wishes, and teleport somehow. You simply dont run about 2km in about 10 seconds to blow up a helicopter. Regarding godmode, we have no idea since we didnt get a shot at him. Name is still unknown due to nameplates being disabled. It is practicly impossible to track cheaters on this server, sadly. And this wasnt the only time bad shit has happened but the story is way too long now, and I guess noone will ever give a shit anyways.

Btw Jasper, we are sorry for shooting you while you were either placing or picking up stuff out of one of our tentcamps the other day. We did not know you were friendly. And to Stefeman and his friend, thanks for the hellride-night last week (and for not sniping us to hell when 5 of us were running over a open field up at Krasnostav), it was awesome to meet a friendly player for the first time. :)
