Loot farming?

I'm not new to DayZ, but i have never really understood when and if loot spawns. If i were with a buddy in let's say..... the barracks, and we stood our ground there for like 30 min., would loot spawn there even if we already looted the place? Or do we have to leave the barracks, go away for like 30 min and come back?

There are about 500 Threads about this but here I'll go ahead and explain it one more time since you can't search the forums.

Loot begins to spawn at loot points when a players signature comes within 200m of the spawn point. It also begins to spawn Zeds in and around that location at their spawn points. It can take loot anywhere from 5-10 min to fully spawn in. If you go into an area that should have loot spawned and there is none simply leave the area (100+m) and wait a few min and check again. To fully despawn a loot point you need to clear all of the loot from that spot and move it out passed the 100m mark (A player's signature that has the loot point attached to them leaving the server will also despawn the loot after a certain period of time) Wait 5-10 min and check the loot point again.
