Cyborgazm 2 Posted August 13, 2012 Hey folks, my DayZ doesn't want to co-operate and work with the newest patch. If I uninstall Arma 2 and DayZ will I lose all my items (I'm assuming they are client side)? I've tried using Six Launcher, Six Updater, DayZ Commander and so forth. Nothing seems to work. jackcrow 129 Posted August 13, 2012 Nope, your toon is safe on the hive. But here is my suggestion:1. Open Six Launcher and allow it to update your Arma2:OA2. Download the 2.5 zip file from the torrent here on this site3. Extract zip file4. Copy contents of zip folder to arma:oa/DayZ/addons (if you are not prompted to replace the current files your not in the right directory)5. Launch Arma2:OA from the .exe in the game folder, DO NOT RUN SIX UPDATER OR DAYZ COMMANDER6. Use in game server browser like a ProIf you try and run one of those launchers afterwards it will rewrite all the DayZ files back to the 2.4 release Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
