Remove the Fog Of War (on some servers)

Not sure if this has already been said but could we please increase the draw distance on (some) expert servers.

Currently the servers are set at about 800-1100m for most areas? Increasing this to 1500m would be enough, so I could finally use the effective range on this AS50.

It´s coded in Arma 2 itself...maybe it will be removed in standalone...

sure its an advantage for sniper but the fog of war just destroys the atmosphere

so jeah would be great.

Draw distance is a factor that affect the server bandwidth usage ( longer view distance = see more zombies/players )

But that's wrong. ArmA2 has a maximum draw distance of 10,000m.

DayZ limits this to 1,500m to make it more balanced for players with lower-end computers.

hmm i thought its Arma 2, because a beta patch introduced the fog of war and not a dayz patch.......

I had Fog of War at around 600m on a server the other night :\ made trying to snipe almost pointless.
