I don't know if this is for anyone else, but I haven't received the new update. And finding a server that I can play is a chore :/

What do you mean by 'haven't recieved the new update'? If you're trying to update using six launcher then it won't work. You'll have to download all the files manually. http://dayzmod.com/Download and http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/

Just extract all the files to \arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\addons\ and overwrite if necessary. :)

I was able to update through DayZ Commander.

yeah, you can upgrade/downgrade versions automatically through DayZCommander now.
