Bandits, balanced melee and costumes

What a great and addictiv mod. Love it!

Since i really care about this game, I thought I share my thoughts in the suggestion part of the forum. I know there are already general posts about the individual topics, but since I cover more than one I thought it would be better to start a new topic. Sorry, if I offend anyone with that

1.

Balanced Melee weapons:

How abouts Melee weapons as no noise one-hitter. If you use it to kill one zed it stucks in the Zed and you need a time consuming action to pick it up again. this way it would be efficient against one Zed but useless against a horde of them.

2.

No bandit penality please!

The trust issue is something I really love about this game. You actually have to talk to people and rely upon your gut feeling if you take the risk to trust someone. Maybe one way to prevend the extensive deathmatch mentality is to reward teamwork more. For example, add features that require two or more people to accomplish. (Build shelter, barricades etc.)

3.Spezialisation kits!

Another idea is to add to the different costumes some spezialisations with merits and flaws. For example:

military medic kit => more effective healing on others/ affecting backpack size

sniper kit => carmoflage /affecting backpack size

hiker kit => most space in backpack/ able to use biggest backpacks?

Maybe it helps, maybe its crap.

There are dozens of threads about bandits/humanity and melee weapons.

As for kits... Well, at least it's not classes.

Backpacks affecting stamina and speed is already suggested and looks more plausible. Plus i'd like to construct my loadout, not put a handicap over my options.

The rules aren't suggestions. If it says not to make duplicate threads, it doesn't mean make one thread that duplicates three other threads, it means don't duplicate threads.
