In my previous life I had 8411 humanity. I was killed by a bandit at NW Airfield and respawned with 0 humanity, but I now have the hero skin (Ihad camo on at NW Airfield).

I have 3750 humanity and am not a hero so no idea how he is with 150. However it went down to 1500 when i had to kill some one even though they shot at me first which is stupid as how can you stay alive as a hero if you cant kill people who are killing you unless you are a bandit.

Whenever your skin changes, your debug monitor resets. So don't be alarmed by this.

i got that skin with 0 humanity, now im confused ;)

respawned two times yesterday, got that skin both times ... i'd guess that there is a global humanity value despite the character bound value

Your humanity is persistent. I have only ever killed bandits and zeds, so my humanity level is high. Seems like I will remain a hero until I kill innocents.

nope, but it will show up when you take the ghillie off

The Hero skin is really awsome but to be perfectly honnest ...

Yup. It's the same thing with the bandit mask as well. I haven't yet murdered anyone on my current life, but I have had dozens spread around my last few lives.

Yes you need either +5,000 to get the Hero skin, or -5,000 to get the bandit mask.

Word for the wise, they only show up when you don't have another skin equipped. You must have Civilian clothing on for it to work. Not quite sure if the bandit mask stays on with bandit skin though; I have yet to find one.

My survivor has been alive for days now, days before the 1.7.2.5 patch came through, when i updated i was already dressed in camo clothing, so i have not noticed any changes and had been wondering what the humanity effect was? my humanity is currently at 11270, probably because i have helped out many players by blood transfusions, morphine shots & bandages, i also have 1 murder :-( by mistake i shot my freind while trying to stop the zombie chasing him, my friend was bleeding out and i needed make an executive decision, our posse moved on while i chose to stay and protect his corpse untill we could figure out where he spawned back in. then ran to meet up and offer my best primary weapon to oppologise but he refused, he knew it was an accident.

Bummer for you, because I have a Wookie suit on and have a silenced MP5 and a AK 74, and given the rate that our squad is finding crash sites, I'll have an L85 soon enough too (2 of my squad already have one). That should make hunting bandits pretty straight sailing. ;)

I kept my hero clothes for special occasions though :P

My humanity is now at nearly 15000. Hunting/killing bandits has given this game a whole new lease of life. I can't wait for dogs and tracking! :D

I have bought DLC Private Military companies and British armed forces and i have survivor skin hires as well as ghillie and DMP camo. So buy these two and you should be good provided that you have bought Combined operation so that you have full Arma 2 and Arrowhead.

Btw I wonder what stuff from recently released DLC Army of Czech republic will Rocket add to DayZ mod. I suspect that maybe the dog model since there is some dog mission in ACR DLC.

If you change to civilian again, then yes you will.
