I like the loneliness

Recommended Posts

After a good chunk of playing, what I really like about DayZ is the sense of loneliness.

It is a bit like that gentle melancholy you get when you go off for a long walk in the country by yourself. I have never felt it in a computer game before and it really only appeared after global chat was removed.

Good show Rocket. Good show.

I absoluteness agree. Getting off that coast and into the wilderness really create a lonely atmosphere that i've rarely if ever experienced in a game before. It's nice to see others appreciate that!

Agreed, I like playing with a team, but I still enjoy lone-wolfing too.

Removing the chat-spam has changed the game for the better.
