Abnormally Dark

See screenshot, left half has levels adjusted as bright as they can be. Changing in-game gamma/brightness did not help at all. It's in what I call "silhouette" mode.

Any way to fix this?

It's just how ARMA II handles lighting. Nothing can be done, I'm afraid.

(You could look around for third party gamma boosting programs, but that's cheating)

If you haven't already done it, turn HDR to very-high, makes the game a bit better, though still quite dark.

Hard to tell bushes from zombies at times..
