Will DayZ run on an Alienware M18x?

Recommended Posts

So I was just wondering if Dayz would run on an alienware m18x that has the highest RAM, processor and graphics card. Will it run it on the highest settings?

No, it will break your shitty pc and then you will go crying to the customer support who will give you another shitty pc until your warranty runs out and then they will sell you another warranty for half the price of the pc.

Yes it will, with all the highest customization, but that's going to cost you over $3000 for a laptop when you could get a desktop that's 2x better for cheaper price. Pretty stupid to get a Dell Alienware laptop.

I have an M18x myself and yes, it will. People dont get that some people travel a fuckload so it's nice to have a decent gaming rig that can go mobile in a second :)

Hope I helped.

Yes easy. If your planning on buying an alienware laptop i'd reccomend otherwise. Buy a decent pc for say $900 and a $400 laptop. Then on this pc you could play anygame and then if you travel you can take your laptop and do more simple things.

I have an m11x (the 11 inch version with a much worse processor and video card) that I use for occasional gaming on the go and I was surprised to find that Day Z runs quite well on it. I've only played once on it and I didn't really check how high the settings were, but it did the job.

That's a lot of money for a laptop. If you want something cheaper, look into Asus's line of gaming laptops. They aren't better, but for a heck of a lot less they are cheaper (G73jh for like 1500$ about 2 years ago. I haven't looked into their laptops lately).

Also, for that amount of money you could have a freaking awesome desktop.
