Green "passed out" hourglass upon login every time?

This is wierd... the last four times I've logged into the game, my character has been passed out. His health is good, he's not bleeding; he's not really in any danger since I tend to log him out in safe places, but it's getting a bit annoying having to wait for the hourglass to clear before I can continue play.

Is this happening to anyone else? It's almost like a "login cooldown" or whatever... where you're not able to do anything upon initial login.

At least it's better than the random teleportation I was getting! XD

Usually it happens when you logged out previously whilst in shock (broken plug icon to the right), after that even if u wait for each timer to end before next logout, it seems to punish you with it again next logon. Wears off after a day or so in my experience.

It didn't wear out for me. I had one of my friends kill me. I also heard that the next server restart fixes it.

Yep, I had logged out while in shock. I needed to wrap up my computer session and get to an appointment, and I was in the fire station... I was lagging a little and sort of fell down the last flight of steps and had the shock symbol. I checked really fast to make sure he didn't have a broken bone or was bleeding and I thought, Oh well... I'll just go ahead and log out. Whoops!

It's more of an inconvenience than anything. If it keeps up then I'll have a friend kill me and guard my corpse until I can reclaim it lol.

a clean death with a small 2 to 3 minute wait on the you are dead screen fixed it for me. but i was teleported to the beach and dropped a good distance and had broken legs and was in a coma, but i still had half my stuff. bleeding out would have been nice but it coagulated and stopped with 354 health left. leaving me on the beach until my hunger and thirst and i was with pneumonia and still for over 24 hrs logged in no death. i dotn know how it fixed itself. either game master. soemone who felt sorry for me, or just hunger and blood loss what ever did me in the next day i logged in and respawned elsewhere.

now if i could have known not to use six updater to launch dayz thus nuking my arma 2 folders. i would be on the server right now. alas i cant even play.

Ive used SU all the time to start arma, 0 problems..

Of course you can. Uninstall SU and perform the manual installation of the game files and patch.

Why would you forego being able to play the game simply because SU isn't working?
