blockhead (DayZ) 4 Posted May 28, 2012 Came across my first flashlight in DayZ over the weekend and up until then had no idea it has to take a weapon slotas far as what I would do in real life... I'd put that in my backpack until it was darkwould be so much better if we could carry it and not occupy a weapon slot until it's used, unless it's restricted by the game design? UnAVA 1 Posted May 28, 2012 wait, can't you put it in your backpack anyway right now?
TwilightSparkle (DayZ) 0 Posted May 28, 2012 You can put them in your pack, it takes 4 or 5 slots though I can't remember.
Eiskrem-Kaiser 54 Posted May 28, 2012 Which is kinda ridiculous, considering, how small a flash light is. It should not need that much space in the backpack.Because of this, I don't even bother picking them up. Also, using them tends to get you killed quite quickly. Reaper (DayZ) 2 Posted May 28, 2012 In terms of how useful it can be to helping you travel through the night I have no issue that it takes up a secondary or couple of spaces in my backpack, I still have my primary :)
