I suicide myself to zombies if I do something stupid like drop my backpack on accident and you can't pick it back up. Anyway, best gun I've found is an AK74 in Stary Sobor, other then that I haven't found any places with better packs, clothes or scoped assault rifles. I found a downed chopper that was looted but that's it. Where is a good place to find guns? I've searched air fields too but at best found a shotgun.Any tips for a n00b is appreciated. dstein 5 Posted August 12, 2012 You're going to have to find the choppers, loot campsites, and go on deer stand runs. The easiest way to start the game for yourself is run directly to Balota if you're in the Kamoravo or Kamenka area or Berezino if you're further up the coast. I personally avoid Cherno and Elektro as much as I can. Also the barracks at the airfield has good stuff, but don't always expect it to be there. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've searched air fields too but at best found a shotgun.Any tips for a n00b is appreciated.Today alone in some of the buildings near the Church in Elektro I have found plenty of Enfield Rifles, CrossBows, Revolvers, M1811 pistols, Ak but no ammo, That was without checking the fire station.
