No one can get past the loading screen on my server.

Recommended Posts

So I'm having some issue where no one can seem to get past the loading screen on my server. I have a server through Host Altitude used the update manager to update to 1.7.2.5 and the BattleEye fix 55. I have no clue what's going on all I know is my server hasn't worked once since I got it from them. I just want to be able to use my server, and after it gets fixed I'm sure the company will do great, but as of right now I am absolutely lost.

Can you connect to your server? Also, is everyone trying to connect to your server using Six Launcher?

In case you didn't know and haven't browsed the forum nor used the search function. Six Launcher does not currently support 1.7.2.5 version of DayZ Mod.

If your server playerbase is using Six Launcher they cannot connect to your server because they're still on 1.7.2.4

They will have to update manually to 1.7.2.5 then either use another launcher or use the Arma2 Multiplayer option to join your server.

Well it seems it works now that I used the 1.7.2.4 patch instead of 1.7.2.5, so I'll have to keep this until I can figure out why non of the randoms could get past the loading screen. I have no idea if they were using the .4 viewer or not.
