My questions are( sorry that they are newby questions) how to i use the chat. also im a tab bit confused about searching and looting body's. it just doesn't make sense to me.

To use chat hit (,) until it says Direct then use (/) to type.

Capslock allows you to use VOIP.

I suggest playing the ARMA II tutorials to learn how to loot stuff since it explains it pretty well.

i also have a question which is how come i spawn and instanly from outa nowhere ive got like 2-3 zombies running at me from miles out its fricken doing my head in now and making the mod no fun at all to play. Must have died like 10 times now by the same accurance

EDIT: nice vid btw but tried the crouch aswell and nope still same joined server which was night time (looked awsome) only been on 1 min and bam 5 zombies already spotted so ive given up now its just not working at all.

See the Dayz GuideZ Channel link in the signature above me - there are also quick start guides on how to gear up fast in one of the cities. Before I saw those, I tried to sneak around, too and got frustrated fast (there always is some Zed with spidey senses). After applying the approach, that is shown in the videos, It was like playing a different game.

Scrap the sneaking and start running, at least until you've gathered the basics. And even then, sneaking only helps versus players (does it even?), Zeds can be handled by running, breaking line of sight and traversing through buildings.

Kreaol - are you the Guidez guy? If yes, thanks a freaking lot, since you jumpstarted my experience in the game!
