I cannot get beta patch to apply.

I keep trying to use the 95883 version, I run it as administrator and it says it has installed successfully, but in game it is always red and I cannot join games using that version. So this limits me to a very small amount of servers.

Anybody have a solution?

You probably updated with the six updater.

This one installs the beta somewhere else than your normal arma2oa is!..

the files you want are probably in:

*\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta

AND you want them to be in

*\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\

you can just copy the files from the beta folder to the arma 2 operation arrowhead one..

You were correct, I needed to move the contents of the beta folder to the main directory. My thanks sir.
