Invalid CD Key - Steam Issue when DLing and installing latest Beta

So.

I got the Steam version of the game. I run DayZ Commander, which tells me that I have the 95283 Beta patch, and obviously I want to upgrade to the latest, 95885, but I can't.

I get an error message saying "Invalid CD Key" when I try...

Why is this, and how can I fix it, without breaking the game?

EDIT: In DayZ Commander it lights up the text below "version" for the servers you can join, and most 1.62.95885 servers are greyed out, but one, which I can join.

Any ideas?

You have to run ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA/CO BEFORE attempting to load DayZ or Beta, regardless of your launcher type.
