1.7.2.5 / 95883 compability?

So I install 1.7.2.5, no problem - still have the old OA patch, install the new OA patch 95883, when I've done this my game goes back to 1.7.2.4? Seriously..? And if I just settle with one of them, I get stuck on loading on every god damn server I try to join. Getting quite frustrating.

Did you use six launcher/updater to install the beta patch?
