to be honest, if this is an alpha and the massive player-base shouldn't be playing for the sole purpose of recreation, then remove leader-boards.

It's a game debilitating bug at moment, as you cannot defend yourself without losing your gear/character. And if you are a bandit you have to either keep killing or not play at all in order to save your gear/character.

I just wanted to reply to tell you about my odd variation of the bug. I shot and killed two players earlier while having around 3500-4000 humanity. After they both died, I got thrown into "Creating Character" for a good five minutes and my buddy confirmed that my skin had changed into a bandit. It failed to finished loading, however, so I backed out to player selection and tried rejoining. Upon re-entering the world, I was able to play as my newly bandit character for a few seconds and then got thrown back to "Creating Character" again. So I repeated the process and logged back in, only to find that I was no longer a bandit, my humanity had only dropped slightly (it was still above 3000) and my number of murders/bandits killed had not changed in the debug menu. After all of this, I discovered my inventory and location to be just fine, but my backpack was cleared of all items. I was aware of the backpack bug, but have never heard of it happening in this manner. Soon after, the server experienced major de-synch and I was forced to log out because of the lag, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
