Invisible Hacker on AU9

Recommended Posts

Invisible hacker on AU 9 just killed a whole bunch of guys.

I was out of ammo at the time, tried to switch to my hatchet but couldn't do it in time to kill him.

Wish I was running my Bandicam because I was literally 5 m from him as he gunned down my team.

ANZ 7 got hosed tonight. Someone gave us all RPKs and satchels. Lost my Kobra, frag, bunch of other things. But the annoying thing is that I now have a bandit skin to replace my freshly worn ghillie. 0 murders, 0 bandit kills, 110 zombies, 2750 humanity and I look like a bandit!! (not that anyone does in this game anyway but) HOW WILL ANYONE EVER TRUST ME NOW, lol. Saved my AS50 that was in my pack, until it happened again about 15 minutes later. Why don't I learn?

Brilliant. Who admin's AU9? Probs post a note for them to see what they can do. Do you have an exact time this occurred? Server logs can have multiple entries per second, so accuracy to-the-minute definitely makes it easier.

Did this hack happen to type anything in Direct, to agitate you guys?

Some guys named Vilayer.com.

Quite frankly I'm sick of trying to report hackers. Because every server is hosted by different people I end up having to sign up to multiple damn forums just to report a hacker. Extremely frustrating. Every time I report, I never see the results. I don't get the satisfaction of seeing "Global Ban". I don't get teleported back to where I was killed or get my gear which I've spent hours collecting back. That and it generally take several hours if not more to get a reply back, by which time the damage is already done.

Making things even more frustrating this time, is that I was actually BEHIND the shooter (I was watching puffs of smoke come out of nowhere), watching him gun down my team, but had no ammo. I tried to switch out to my hatchet, but after hitting G, pressing drop on my rifle, then remove from toolbelt on my hatchet, he had already slaughtered everyone and turned to gun me down too.

It's your choice to play on various servers, and to report hackers when you can, too.

Getting a response from an admin can take time - you know the drills. Stick to your guns or drop 'em and run.

Personally, I would stick to one server and make yourself known and welcome as a part of its' community. You've a better chance of getting a fast, positive reaction that way than you do if you're flitting about among servers hosted by different crews.

I've seen you using teamspeak, and most of the Ausarma servers have admins available.

Best make use of them - local bans are fast, but global bans.. you need a lot of evidence for that to happen. If you can't provide much the DayZ hive team has to do all that for you. What a laborious pain in the arse

Well my clan used to be ANZ 5 regulars (hosted by AusArma.org).

Then the entire server got hacked so bad that it went down for days, and when it came back up, our base camp and vehicles were gone (ie, gone by having to reset the server)

We tried going back to it after it came back up, but it went down again shortly after.

I really feel sorry for cm. and Freebourne. Having to manage an entire server reset and still having issues after must be a pain in the arse.
