Maybe pick up a portable video camera to link to your TV set. e.g. so you could keep an eye on your tents and camp while on the move.

I dig this. I had another thread suggesting the implementation of base tactics and one of them was a TV station you could control as long as you had access to it. This would tie in perfectly to that.
