FPS take nose dive randomly

My PC seems to run dayz just fine most of the time, then out of the blue my FPS will drop to something like 10-15 making it unplayable in any real sense. Seems to be nothing in general that triggers it and I get no spike in memory or CPU usage.

I just get crappy FPS randomly then after a min or two it's gone.. Many times I end up with holes in the map as sections of ground disappear and so on..

I've tried changing various video options but nothing seems to fix this.. Anyone else getting this?

I kinda get the same problem.

Sometimes I will start off with a fine game and then after a while 30minutes an hour whatever, the game becomes slow and fps laggy.

Othertimes I will start off straight away with a laggy game.

It might be the servers, I am running a high end gaming machine and got problems.

Sorry to say this, but I think it is the poorly made Arma game. They have more bugs in 1 game than any other put together, they seem to be just quickly thrown together and not bothered with. All of the Arma games are terribly made with insane amount of problems.

That being said, Bohemia are making the standalone DayZ game? This makes me very very worried. I hope they put time into the game.

You google the arma bugs and you'll be bombarded with sites with people complaining about bugs, glitches etc.

Sorry dude but I cannot help you as I am in the same boat.

Only thing seems to fix is turn the game off, reboot your pc and log back in and it's fine again for me... For the next hour of it's life..
