Could anyone please provide and In-depth answer on how the new skins work?

I had the hero skin but my ghillie suit got a rid of it will I have to get my humanity back up to get it again?

When I did get my hero skin all my stats reset to 0 including humanity is that a bug?

If I die will my skin and or humanity reset?

Sorry if these questions are answered somewhere else I searched and couldn't find them.

With 7.2.4, when putting on a new skin, you will loose your stats. When you reconnect the stats return. When you reconnect a second time you will be killed and appear in debug land. When you reconnect a fourth time, you will spawn on the coast with all your gear and your stats as normal.

What happens with 2.5, I don't know.
