Can two people from the same household both play together?

My brother got me to play Dayz so we could play on the same server and whatnot and we finally got it running for me. However, now whenever I get onto the server he loses connection and vice versa. Is there a way to fix this or a way to get around it? Or are we just gonna have to deal with it?

If your internet can handle it then yeah two people can play the game on the same connection. Like BunnyHillPro said though, you need two copies of the game. I was playing with my friend at his house with me on my laptop and him on his desktop just this week.
