Huey keeps crashing

My friend runs a server. we found a Huey, we prepared it and when someone was flying it, his game crashes. Later when we started up the server again the next day, the helicopter was falling from the sky to the ground making it blow up where he left. This keeps happening and it has been happening for 7 days now.

So I was wondering when it would respawn or how to fix it somehow.

Also the respawn time says 7 days, but does the server need to be up for 7 days or is it just counts as days?

Ours did this for 8 days. Every server restart the chopper would fall from the sky and blow up.

And it stopped after 8 days? but I wonder if the server needs to be up that long. or that the hive is just counting 7 days even if the server is down?

Weird, never happened to us.

But what has happened is that our chopper permanently de-spawned or some jackass drove it off map and just left it there.

If its off the map then it should respawn within 24hours I think.

you sure he knows how to fly it?

does your game do the same thing if you fire up arma II for the simulator and try to fly a huey that way?
