So I have been recruited by a clan that happens to be hackers...

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine who i met (fellow survivor) just got recruited to a new clan and got me an invite. I'm currently on skype with them and they are just spawning stuff on official servers (Helicopters, guns, bikes etc). I feel like a bit of an asshole, but I want to report them because it's fucking lame. The effects on other survivors aside hacking RUINS any sort of sense of achievement or accomplishment. If anything it has really opened my eyes to how rampant hacking is, and how rare it is to find people with legit items.

Fair enough. I'd run a video - Firstly I don't know how (fraps?) and secondly i don't want to be implicated. I haven't used any spawned items or used any software.

If i report them where do I do it? Surely their in-game name means shit because you can just change it.

Also, I was under the impression that the hacks were scripts that are detected and people get permabans eventually. The sad truth is that it's undetected that they pay monthly for the anti-cheat protection. Sad to find out!

I think all the moderators/admins need is:

Server name/ Server IP

The time they started "hacking" (implementing scripts in the server processes to change gameplay into their own benefits) <-- which is LOGGED at all times

So like

192.184.73.14602

Thursday 16th, 2012 - Between 13:37 and 14:00 (1:37 and 2:00 pm), hackers spawned blablabla, and so on.

(See what I did there?)

Alright, thanks. I'll do this tomorrow when they are all meeting up.
