Feint (DayZ) 27 Posted August 11, 2012 Hey guys,Ever since getting DayZ there's one thing that always confused me, radio messages. Before spawning into a game I'm usually greeted to a number next to a message saying to 'RETREAT!' or 'REGROUP!'.At first I'd attempt to respond but after that failed I left it be, can anyone let me know what the messages actually are? Thanks in advance. :)

internetTAB (DayZ) 76 Posted August 11, 2012 It's true they're nothing, after playing Arma 2 though I believe that the game thinks each player is an AI and they spam these messages.(if you played Arma 2 you'll see what I'm talking about, your squad always calling out things, etc.). It's pretty funny, but weirds me out when I see myself sending messages. It's also pretty funny when you see a team fight bust out on radio chatter "We lost 77, 29 is down, we lost 83!"
Fonziе 159 Posted August 11, 2012 They're radio messages sent from Green Mou-
ACOGshot 38 Posted August 11, 2012 It's because Arma 2 was never meant to be a zombie survival game. You mess with the code and you get bugs.
cindyanne1 41 Posted August 11, 2012 I figured it was just something left over from the Arma game engine and was mostly for that game and not this one.
