Anyone else just get asked for gender after update?

So like, I finally managed to get back up to my usual ghillie, as50, m9sd, nvg etc , after losing them over and over to scripters, and I just updated and got asked to select my gender......

If I join another server will I be all good.. ?

He said he hasn't died... he just updated.

You should only get the gender question when you respawn after dying.

I have had this.

It will ask and you will need to select.

Then you will either re-spawn on coast with your gear or spawn next to your old character's now dead body :)
