Kraegan 9 Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) First of all. Some cheaters use some kind of bypass so they won't show up in the logs at all. I hope BattlEye fixes that...But for those who do show up in the log how can we actually find the person who triggered the scripts?For example. A cheater joined my server earlier and teleported everyone on the server. This does indeed show up in the logs. But it doesn't show who executed the script! Is there a way to find how?Here is an example from earlier today. Rock n rolla 0 Posted August 11, 2012 On 1.7.2.5 you cant see even that, Im not pretty sure what was Rocket thinking about when he disabled logs, but now you cant even proof that someone is teleporting/spawning weapons and stuff like that, it looks like DayZ is getting a paradise for cheaters and abusive admins, because now you can see only when person is logging in the server and disconnecting from the server, so cheaters can kill/teleport and do what they want to do because BattleEye cant catch cheaters and abusive admins can ban everyone whom they dislike. mr_snipes 7 Posted August 30, 2012 It looks like they want to dump the mod completely.Catching cheaters takes time. I dont see any reason for abandoning this feature except trying to save time.In my mind the're not worth to earn money with the full version if they abandon the mod like this.
