The amount of "Versions" is getting a bit rediculous

Recommended Posts

You need a DayZ version, ARMA beta patch version and a battle eye version. If you use six launcher or command launcher it will update, but if you try using the in-game server list its a different version if you don't manually patch. Servers are all mixing and matching versions and its making it a little difficult to join a game right now because you can't join due to having a different one. Thanks for listening GD Diary.

Never had a single issue joining servers. I check how many servers run which version with day z commander, and then i update manually depending on that. Usually over 60% of all servers run the same version

It's actually pretty straight forward. It can be a bit daunting for noobs but once you learn what the different updates mean it's just a case of using the latest versions. This is a free mod in Alpha testing. Constant updates and bug fixing is the whole point of doing the testing.

If your finding it a bit tiresome just wait for the finished product, install and then enjoy.

  1. If using Steam, run both ARMA2 and ARMA2: Combined Operations once to complete installation.
  2. Download the latest version of Six-Updater from https://dev-heaven.net/projects/six-arma-updater/files
  3. Run the Six-Updater exe file and install to the location of your choosing.
  4. When install is complete, there will be two "Six" programs (Six Updater and Six Launcher). Run "Six Launcher."
  5. You should see a DayZ themed program with a server browser. Click the Update button in yellow on the left.
  6. When update is complete, select a server and pres Join.

Nothing hard with that lol

People are way to accustomed to simple installings like cod...

Filtering Servers for current version => Server Name: 1.7.2.4 helps alot aswel...
