Can one of these Grahpics card run dayz?

Hello I am planning on buying a new Graphics card to play this game, and I was wondering if these following graphic cards could run this game. ATI Radeon HD 6970, and ATI Radeon HD 5770. If they could run Dayz how well can they run it? Thanks :) !

Mine is on the left it runs dayz on high, HD 5770 should be fine

The GPU doesn't run a game alone you know :D If ur cpu or ram is bottlenecking then u can even get the 690GTX and still not run it.

They can't run it, I have a HD 5770, and I get below 10 fps wherever I go, can run almost any other game on high perfectly fine, not DayZ however.

What kind of cpu do you have? How much ram?

I kinda know that..... I am new to Dayz not new to PC gaming itself. From what the specs were for Arma 2 combined Operation I could run it smoothly if I had a better graphics card. Now graphics card I can say I am new to that......

the 6970 will run the game just fine while the 5770 may struggle here and there...

I got the 5570 and i get low fps in cherno and elektro.. and the game runs fine at very low graphics.. -.-

What CPU how much RAM and what PCI express (gen1 2 or 3?) slots do you have? all these things effect how your gpu runs.

I have a 6970 with I7 2600k, 8gb ddr3 and a ssd and i can run it fine for the most part, however if i wanna go to elektro and to cqb in the city i switch my details to low, cause 30 fps and pretty frequent lower fps spikes is not acceptable in close combat, as people who have been doing fps gaming for a longer time, especially on a competitive level should now. If you put all your shit to normal-ish you should run the game no problems i think. Also if i have my details set to highest then it also drops pretty drastically if i zoom in on the character view

I really would not recommend anything under that for dayz personally. 30-40 fps the minimum that is acceptable to me.

I will be getting a dual 680gtx setup with 16 gigs of ram next year, b4 crysis 3 comes out, so i think after that i will have no problems at all with performance :D
