Well, rather predictably I just got shot to bits on my way there. I was only 3k away too :( . I just wanted to see if there was any remenants of the camp there, I guess we'll never know now.

But nevertheless, I'd really like that this kind of things would actually happen (including forming some kind of rescue squad and the likes, that is 100% more DayZ than any stupid KoS, ALT+F4-behavior out there)!!!

Agreed. I'm still gonna check the area later to see what I can. I've seen genuine vids of kidnappings and so on but it's far too rare, people just DC too often which is a shame. I was really up for a rescue mission.

i think any type of play like this should be encouraged, it makes things much more interesting!

Goose chase is over FINIALLY. There was no wire fencing border, just the one small camp they dropped us off at. I ended up running like 3k away, and I guess the other gent did aswell. I ended up being the 2nd to die, not sure what came of the loot / other gent.

Editing the like, 4 hours of footage now. Expect video in about....i dont even know., The upload itself will take a while, and I have to watch all 4 hours of that, cut parts out, fast forward some parts etc. Ill just go ahead and say tommorow. I dont feel like sitting through a 12 hour editing session.
