I know this works in Lingor as I did it yesterday, unsure on vanilla DayZ.

But if it doesn't work, it definitely needs to be added.

Vid related, able to put military flashlight on your shoulder using either red or white light while still being able to use guns.

If you have camouflage clothing you should be able to, but with a ghillie suit and civilian clothing you shouldn't be able to.

I would like this in Day Z, it would help out a lot.

Lol.... Webbing.. which every skin wears or the backpack strap. Duct tape is getting shit not good for weather. Zip Ties FTW

I'd take duct taping my flashlight to my shoulder over holding it with both hands in an instant. I can do it, how is it not realistic?

I'd rather have a red light. Great for flagging down NVG users without giving away your position to EVERYONE IN THE FOREST, like a normal flashlight does.

Sure, most people hate me, but atleast I can find alternate uses for stuff. Also, flashlights can blind NVGs. Not effective, but they can.

Most military flash lights are built to be put on your shoulder

I love my military flashlight.

But the one in the game isn't the L shaped ones that go on your shoulder. Another variation should be added. More light sources in general would be good. I would suit up in a glowstick guillie suit if it was available.
