I'd like a mountain bike as well. It fits my needs perfectly.

I can't imagine that this would increase strain on the servers or be -too- difficult to implement. Would need the inclusion of a bike wheel as a spawned item. Possibly pieces to fix the "Hull?" I can't imagine it would require new code other than having them spawn in more places. It'd be nice to have them in small villages where the residents might not have been able to afford a motorized vehicle.

Horses? I know I'm probably pushing it but on the plus side don't require parts or fuel, can be shot by opponents and hey, if you get desparate, you have a ready supply of steak... Or just stick to bikes...

Haha yea I concur bikes would be great (and funny). I think one of the greatest enjoyment factors in this game is the dark, creepy aspect of it mixed with its hilarious aspects. It makes a great mix.:D

I can just imagine riding through cherno agrroing every zed and cycling past a fellow survivor ringing my bell, and as they turn around they see like a mob of 50 chasing them, that would be priceless.

Given that the Mountain bike would be non motorised should it makes reduced noise? such as perhaps the noise level given off from walking on roads?

Arma2 has you riding a bicycle in the first single player mission. Content is in the game already.

There are bikes already in ARMA, but I think one reason Rocket has left them out is that they would actually be kind of overpowered, since they make zero noise, require no petrol and can actually move faster than most cars off-road. Tons of bikes lying around would sort of shrink the map pretty quickly.

Then again, you would be pretty visible on a bike, so one way of balancing them would be to add a very high zombie visibility to the bikes (like more bars than doing a full sprint).
