What is the right way to use tents !

I know that tents are very unstable !

But ,did someone manage to find the right way to make them save items properly ? sometimes it saves my items sometimes not ,any tips on this ?

Some times I've had tents reset on the first server reset, only to be restored on the next reset. Sometimes they save regardless though. Just make sure to save the tent after putting your stuff in. After the first" wipe" though they should be safe.

Tents are saved to the server they are placed on. For whatever reason, a tent does not save it's contents until after a server restart occurs. Once the first restart occurs after placing a tent, then you may safely put objects in it. This seems to be how they work.

Sometimes an update will necessitate a tent wipe, but in those cases it is usually announced.
