Gender not changing properly

I set my gender to female and it only worked until I re-logged, and now i have no idea how, or if I can change it again

can I, or am I stuck as a male forever?

"Gender problems (lol), email dayzdevteam with "SERVER GENDER SELECTION" in heading with your PlayerID. Limited time only, I haven't slept or eaten all weekend and I'll be going out to the supermarket in a few hours." -rocket

You should probably email them now while the day is still young.

No, go and edit your player profile. The player id is at the bottom.
