unconsciousobjector 69 Posted August 11, 2012 What's the proper way to install 1.7.2.5??I've tried everything I can think of including several "tutorials" or "how to's" to no avail.I downloaded the full install that had a bunch of dayz.* and dayz_.* files, copied them to the existing dayZ folder (where they supposedly go) and no luck.Please, before someone says "use search" or "google it", I have, several times.Now my Arma2 single player option is disabled. sibexus 26 Posted August 11, 2012 For me... I downloaded the files through torrent. Opened the archive, replaced the files in my @Dayz mod with the files in the archive I had just downloaded. poisonfish 1 Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) use the "Play with six " launch six updater click on homepage it explains how .. i have done it it installed perfectly // Play withSIX DayZ 1.7.2.5 (PreRelease) support!We're currently still not authorized by DayZ team to push 1.7.2.5 en-mass, as such we've added multi-version support to Play withSIX.A new update for Play withSIX has been released that supports the DayZ v1.7.2.5 pre-release mod version!You can control which mod version to use in the Game section option "Update to PreRelease versions" (for now restart after changing).Currently there are no plans to add this support to SIX Launcher and Updater, as full focus is on Play withSIX which replaces SIX Launcher already, and will soon replace SIX updater also.Enjoy!--------------------------------direct link is http://www.six-updater.net/ Edited August 12, 2012 by poisonfish 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Takamatsu 0 Posted August 12, 2012 The files go in: [your install folder]\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\addons\There should be files of the same names in there already. You might want to copy these in case you want go back to 1.7.2.4.If you can't find the right folder, do a search for dayz_weapons.pbo Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
