skins and backpacks

Since last time I lost my coyote backpack by wearing a ghillie suit, I want to ask if I turned into bandit skin will I lose my backpack also?

Afaik the 2 lootable outfits (i.e. camo & ghillie) come with their built-in backpacks, overwriting the currently worn pack during equipping (fix: drop your pack before equip).

The 2 skins that come with alignment (hero & bandit) don't behave like that, as in 'I haven't experienced it myself (I wear the hero skin) or have heard others report it'.

Correction. I lost 2 Alice packs by morphing into the bandit skin. Great stuff.

Could it be, that you wore a ghillie or camo before the morphs?. As in ghillie->morph to bandit->regain ghillie, including backpack overwrite...?

Nope, no ghillie or camo. I respawned as a new character. Picked up an Alice pack. Killed someone. Morphed into bandit. Alice pack turned into coyote with half the contents. Happened twice.
