Hackers trying to get people banned

Was playing today when this happened twice.

First, the hacker alters your inventory, putting in a bunch of equipment that doesn't appear in the DayZ game.

Secondly, they teleport you to a location.

Third, they make you dance.

And finally, they kill you by dropping you 300 m.

Here's the footage I got of this happening:

As you can see, the hacker put a PDW SD and an RPK into my inventory.

The previous time he did it, it was a M4 Holosight. None of these weapons are available in DayZ and from my understanding, if a hacked weapon is found in your inventory on the hive, they corrupt your player file so you lose everything.

So not only are the hackers trying to ruin my gaming experience, they're actually trying to get me banned from the game.

You won't be corrupted if you're found of a hacked weapon, only if you're a well known cheater.

..what can you say to that . .it's fucked. Hopefully there is fewer of them now with the updates, it's been said a number of times though that you wont be banned for a hacker interacting with you, it's the hacker that will be banned (that's the plan anyway).

You can not get banned for using or possesing hacked weapons. ONLY HACKING THEM IN YOURSELF.

As the hacker has to send the info (script) to the server, it comes up as them, not you, hacking.

You should be fine. Next time, tell the hacker over directional chat that you aren't sorry for plowing his girlfriend.

That's how they "win".

Cheaters are like kids acting stupid for attention, it's best to just ignore them, eventually their hollow fun will be boring or they will be banned, if everyone gives up and makes the gaming experience worse all round, then it just compounds the issue and kills a game we all profess to love playing.

Not that I'm against trolling :)
