Proudful 1 Posted August 10, 2012 Hey, I've heard that using SD mags in a non-SD weapon makes the bullets go all over the place. This effects every gun right? Also, is there anyway to tell which rounds I'm using? I have both SD and Non SD stanag on me. Can I tell which mags the rifle is using? KingRedemax 15 Posted August 10, 2012 If you press F and look in the top left corner of your screen you can see if you have SD rounds in.As for the increased bullet spread, I've heard the same thing but I have no evidence to prove or disprove it.

Blindingsun 233 Posted August 10, 2012 if you put SD rounds into a non SD weapon, that weapon will auto zero for 1000m.the Sa80 is inaccurate as it is lol. it's effective lethal range is 400m
Zeromentor 169 Posted August 10, 2012 I, too, have heard that Stanag SDs disrupt your accuracy when placed in a gun that is not 'silenced'.I believe people said it would be zero'd to 1000 meters when you do that. From my experience, this does not seem to be true, but my testing was limited to SD mags in an M4A3 CCO. Headshots were accurate out to 150 meters, I didn't try any further (lack of zombies).
