28 days later....still no working dayz :( battleye client not responding :( Anyone willing to help?

So exactly 28 days ago...lol...i've been waiting just so i could use that and hopefully catch the attention of a nice forum member :)

I purchased arma2 combined operations on steam.

I've run both games and let them fully start which avoids any cd key errors.

I downloaded beta patches for arma2 as they came out and installed them by running the installer and then editing my _runA2CO_beta.cmd by adding "-mod=%_ARMA2PATH%;EXPANSION;ca ;@dayz" (just the @dayz part).

I installed and ran sixupdater for the dayz files part.

So as of today I'm currently on arma2 beta ver 95819.

My dayz files are ver 1.7.2.4

I've tried battleye as installed by steam....which when trying to connect to a server reports as 1.164

Also tried battleye as downloaded from the battleye site.....which when trying to connect to a server reports as 1.167 (this is my current version)

For battleye I've made sure to copy both the client and server dll into all three locations, the two steam ones and the user one in windows.

I read someplace about having to generate the files lst and copy it around, which I've tried, but not too sure about really.

Basically if I try to lauch or quick play from six, i get as far as the lobby (which I sit in for a few minutes to see if battleye fails or not) and then after about 90 seconds i get kicked with an error battleye client not responding. Actually trying to get into the game does the same thing but takes longer to get back out and try again...thus I just sit in the lobby for a moment or two.

Once I was able to get a connection and actually into the game, but I was totally not expecting it and had very little time to play...needless to say i was quickly eaten by zeds :(

So here I sit, broken hearted, tried to dayz but only uhhhh, got kicked :( lol...anyone able to PM/help me get this going? :)

Must be a battle eye problem.

If it is not responding that is the problem, when it responds it should update to 1.168.

You say you have been in the game once, With version 1.7.2.4 ?

Some servers for me seem not to work either, but i now know of some servers that DO work for me.

Ok, so I've just downloaded the most recently 1.1.68 and updated the three locations with the client and server dll manually. I started dayz via six and quick play, the lobby 'log' shows battleye client 1.168 initialized and then still after 90 seconds or so I get kicked. I've tried a couple servers with different versions...and all kick me.

Do I have to connect to servers with the exact same version of the arma2 beta patch (95819 currently I'm on) as me? Or just anything equal or lower?
