Suspected explosion hack US 1360

At approximately 4:12 PM (GMT -5), my friend and I were running through a forest on our way to set up a camp. Then, out of nowhere, an explosion goes off and kills my friend. About five seconds later, a similar explosion killed me, even though I had not moved or taken any action whatsoever after the first explosion. We were running through a forest north of the "Old Fields" section of the map east of the lake "Prud". There was no one in the area. We had NVGs and ghillie suits when we died.

Similar thing happened to me that same day on that server. Loud noise and then I was dead. I have been playing on that server for about a week now and that is the only time that has happened to me. Today I logged in and my friends and me lost everything in our tents and our vehicles were gone from our camp. Someone may have found our camp by luck but it's unlikely. Grrrrrr....DayZ!

Was it a noise like a flashbang in Call of Duty? That's what happened during our untimely deaths.
