With BootCamp you can. So since the launch of Bootcamp, there is no negative side with a mac. You can run everything PC´s can run, and everything OSX can run. I do alot of editing and I would rather edit on Mac and even looking at my mac and pc screen right now the mac has such a beautiful screen compared to my PC. You know how old I was? 7.If your PC crashes because of viruses then it's your damn fault for downloading attachments of off emails claiming you won the lottery.Also the reason you don't spend money on your mac is because it's nearly impossible to upgrade.By now your graphics card is probably totally outdated. Want to put a different one in it?You will probably pay about 3 times the price + have an apple "genious" install it for you.Also, learn to use torrent sites and download an anti virus if that's your main concern for a windows.I honestly don't have an anit-virus installed on my computer because I don't like the idea of a program by a company scanning my every file.And guess what? Seems to me that I'm the one with a top notch computer I've had for over 2 years now that probably costs half your mac's price, and no viruses because I'm not retarded. (He did)Whenever I downloaded a new game or applications with my friends, he would always get pissed because most of the time he couldn't even install it because most installers are .msi.He even bought crossfire to run windows specific things.His computer was outdated, always having to pay for certain software updates.He understood that most art related things (photoshop, sony vegas, etc) run perfect on a PC too.Eventually he admitted that he was wrong to buy a mac.Again I asked him why.He told meBecause everyone's buying them, and because I thought that they were better because they were more expensive. I paid $1000 all up for the parts for my pc. My PC runs every game I own on ultra, and also does 3D rendering 10x faster than any mac at my college does.Not only do Apple underclock their processors to make them very mediocre, they also fit their machines with crappy out of date GPU's. The only Mac I could ever buy is a Mac Pro, but even then, my PC is still WAY more powerful, and is less than half the price."Macs are for people that can afford them" is the stupidest argument I've ever heard, and you make yourself look like a fool by saying stupid things like this. That's like the 12 year olds on my bus arguing that iPhones are better than android phones, 'because they cost more'.
