Need help with performance

Hello, recenltly I bought Arma and arrowhead, I patched everything up with six launcher. And when I start the game the graphics really suck. Like to the point where its unplayable I recently bought this computer im using only for this trip im making to croatia Arma isn't the only problem I have with this. I have 6gb of ram Intel® Core i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz which is good enough to run arma 2, now the reason I think it isn't working out is because of my graphics card an Intel ® HD Graphics card. What's weird about it is I've went on a System requirement site and early on it said it had 17MB of video ram. Later I test it again and it said I had 1.7GB of video ram, and that arma requires around 500mb. yet it still says it's too bad to run it.

I have DirectX already installed and my free Disk space is 710gb.

It also stated that it only failed BECAUSE of my graphics card. I had problems trying to launch counter strike source too because it said it didn't recognize my graphics card is it the same here too? Can it not recognize my graphics card? My Internet is pretty bad. But that doesn't equal bad Graphics and clunky gameplay. I set it to max, I set it to the lowest, always stays the same. Only thing increasing is eather frames or decreasing frames. My Ms is usually 42 (Not sure but it says that and I pick servers relatively close by) and my Ping is good.

(Yes Head bobbing is off. all those pesky game hindering options are turned off)

All I want is somewhat playable game. Now listing the exact issues

1. The graphics won'T change it stays the old bad textures terrain loads slowly my character seems like hes walking on quick sand kind of slowly clunkingly moving forward. I also picked up a sniper Rifle to test the zoom, and i found it quite horrible, The scope wobbling around while aiming. Impossible for me to hit anything if you had any idea how bad it is you would get a head ache and stop playing in 5 minutes.

I need help is there some way to fix this issue? My graphics card is actually BETTER then the listed stats for DayZ but in game it doesn'T seem like it.
