UK Server killed me and others: lost everything

This is very frustrating :wacko: :

I was on a UK server playing (9/5/2012 around 18:30CET) and suddenly a lot of players were dying at the same time, according to the ingame status lines. And then suddenly me too... BOOM. "stef is killed". For no apparant reason. No zombies nearby, no cliffs i fell from, no "server is going down warning...", just plain bland "killed".

I lost a lot of good gear and also my urge to continue playing Dayz. I don't mind being killed for the umptieth-time by a bandit, or the loss of loot due to wrong 'handling'. But I do mind another 'freaky' way to shun me...

So this is my question: is there a procedure to reset my status to before that unmerited kill? If so, what do I need to give as proof? (Are there log files? Where? You need my Arma2 serial? Who can i contact?

I sincerely hope an admin can help me here.

I need to point out that anyone who asks for your serial tell him to get lost. Server admins DO NOT need your serial key! Why would you suggest such a thing. Also without actually having a server ID to go on your post is pretty much useless to any admin.

You were most likely killed by a hacker, enjoy. Happens to me all the time.

Can you tell me what the server ID is? Can i find it in a logfiles somewhere? I use the Dayz Six launcher so i am not really thinking "Ah i have to write down this server"... i just click on the row with the best setting (english, regular, users online,...)

Of course, I understand we are playing a mod in beta, so no real reasons to nag. Just a small shame.

Say Colditz, is there a torture mode in Dayz, so we can deploy this to captured hackers?
