So with the new update Rocket did not include the individual .rar files, instead he made 1 big file that is going to take 3 hours to download. I was wondering if downloading the torrent would be faster and if so do I have to have a program installed to open and install the torrent? thanks for helping.

You need a special client, a bittorrent client, to download these files. The .torrent file gives your client the information necessary to draw the target files (Day Z mod files) to your computer and also share them with others.

I use qBittorrent. Many clients are starting to go commercial and it annoys me. Deluge is another good one that is not commercial.

As to sixlauncher, I've been down that road and I did not like it. I'm more interested in torrents right now but thanks for your input.
