Confirmed this is still happening on 1.7.1.5, on Seattle 31 server. Same muzzle flash, and I spent ages trying to get in (was the first heli I've found so thought I was doing something wrong until I looked it up).

Even have video of it if Rocket wants it (albeit late at night so can't see much).

Edit: Found other threads saying loot spawns on the ground near the chopper, rather than inside it which was my understanding. I guess someone else took all that stuff earlier.
