I have a theory. If everybody stops posting about hackers, maybe they will slowly disappear. If they don't get recognition, what's the point? What do you guys think?

People who hack in Harriers to kill people to see if everyone freaks out tend to love attention, yes. But on the flip-side, there are those who just like to hack in the Harrier to kill everyone. Regardless of attention received, those kind of scripters/hackers will not stop.

There are several forums with specific sub sections dedicated to making bypasses and cheats for this game.

Closing your eyes will make no difference. They have their own community and don't care what you think or do.

On one in particular a new bypass was released on the 8/8 and was detected the same day, Global banning a whole heap of skiddies. I found that quite amusing.

Hackers don't care about attention or praise/hate. They get off on being able to do what they do... Even If the servers were empty they would still be doing it because they can. Pushing the limits of what they can do is exciting to them. If they are on a website or a game that says you can do this but not this.... Well now they want to do just that... Its a matter of self gratification... or mental masturbation.
