Graphics issue - only near Airstrips?

Recommended Posts

Seems whenever I approach and airstrip I get hit with graphical problems only in that area and facing a certain direction.

Anyone else have this?

These are probably the artifacts. these occur because of texture problems. The DayZ Alpha status is to blame I suppose, and there are a few things you can do that help me.

Whenever you get these "warp speed" like flashes, try to disable anastrophic filtering and post effects. That helps for me.

If that doesn't work I quit the game, and restart it. usually the errors are gone because of ..... unknown reason.

I suppose these get fixed in the future, but are caused by glitching textures. sometimes from dead bodies, or barbed wire.

Switching servers might also help.

These glitches are caused by the unlootable corpses of the military zombies (they may not even be zombies tbh). Most people have found that pressing left shift and the minus key on the numpad (which brings up an invisible console), then typing in flush fixes that problem. This problem wasn't in the mod a short while ago so i think it'll be fixed eventually

Yes I get that glitch in Belota a lot, and sometimes in Cherno. I was blaming the bodybag decorations, not sure if that's really what it is though. Switching servers generally works for me.

Ok! Thanks guys, glad I'm not the only one. I've just switched servers to get rid of it because sometimes rejoining never fixed it. Thanks again.
